Can people still get yellow fever?

I'm planning an international trip to some African countries next year, and while looking up vaccine requirements, I saw yellow fever mentioned. I thought it was mostly eradicated. Can people still get yellow fever in some parts of the world?

Yes, yellow fever is still very much active in certain parts of Africa and South America. I use a travel health tracker app, and it always shows vaccination mandates before flying to those regions. Always get your yellow fever shot if you are traveling.

Absolutely, it is still around, especially in tropical areas. Keeping your general immunity and stamina high through regular outdoor walks and exercise is great, but for specific viral threats like yellow fever, vaccination is the only real protection.

I once ignored a high fever and body aches thinking it was normal flu, and ended up hospitalized with severe complications. Never take travel-related fevers lightly. If you have been to an endemic area and feel sick, get a proper blood test done immediately.

Yes, yellow fever is still a risk in tropical regions of Africa and Central/South America. If you are traveling to these areas, the World Health Organization strongly advises getting vaccinated at least 10 days before. Consult a travel medicine expert for the right advice.

While a clean protein-rich diet and solid strength training keep your body strong, they won't stop a mosquito-borne virus like yellow fever. If you are traveling to risk zones, make sure you get the vaccine. Don't rely just on fitness for viral protection.

Unless you plan on fighting off infected mosquitoes with a racket all day during your vacation, yes, you can get it. Just get the jab and save yourself from turning yellow on your holiday!

I totally get it, planning international travel can be so stressful when you hear about these viral diseases. Yes, yellow fever still exists, but the vaccination process is very simple and completely secures your health.

Yes, you can still get it, and getting sick abroad is incredibly expensive. Getting the yellow fever vaccine at government-authorized centers in India is very pocket-friendly and saves you from massive hospital bills later. Plan it well in advance.

Our elders always say to use neem leaves and natural repellents to keep mosquitoes away, which is good practice. But for yellow fever, my doctor clearly said that vaccination is absolutely mandatory and the only reliable defense. Better to be safe.

Yes, it is still active in some parts of the world! But don't worry, the single-dose vaccine gives lifelong protection, so just get the shot and enjoy your travels safely.

Yes, it still exists. Just like I have to do regular thyroid tests to keep my health in check, travelers must get their yellow fever vaccination certificate and follow up with a doctor if they experience any symptoms post-travel. Regular medical checks keep us safe.

Haan bhai, yellow fever abhi bhi hota hai kuch deshon mein. Isliye government travel se pehle vaccine compulsory rakhti hai. Faltu ka risk mat lo, chupchap apna vaccination karwao aur fir hi baahar jao.

I am so tired from my night shifts that I probably look like a yellow fever patient myself, but yes, it is still a thing globally. If you are flying abroad, get that shot. You don't want to get stuck in airport quarantine instead of your hotel.

I just returned from a trip to Africa and had to show my yellow fever vaccination card at customs. The disease is very real there and can be severe, so please do not take the vaccination requirement lightly. It really protects you.
