Can people recover from a stroke?

My grandmother recently suffered a stroke, and we are all praying for her recovery. The doctors are doing their best, but we want to know what to expect. Is it possible for people to fully recover from a stroke, or at least regain most of their abilities?

Yes, many people do make a great recovery after a stroke. It takes time, patience, and proper medical support, but there is definitely a lot of hope.

Yes, recovery is very possible, especially if clot-busting treatment is given within the first few hours. Afterward, regular physiotherapy and occupational therapy are key to helping the brain rewire itself. Stay consistent with the rehab sessions.

Yes, they can! My uncle had a stroke a couple of years ago, and we were so scared. But with continuous physiotherapy, a healthy diet, and lots of family support, he is back to driving his car now. Just take it one day at a time.

Bilkul thik ho sakte hain, babuji. Hamare pados mein ek chacha ko stroke hua tha, pehle unka hath kaam nahi karta tha. Par dheere dheere malish aur koshish karne se ab woh khud chalte hain aur apna saara kaam karte hain. Bhagwan sab thik karenge.

I am not very familiar with this, but my grandmother recently had a mild stroke and we are all very worried. Do most people recover fully, and does physical therapy really help them walk again?

My father had a stroke last week and progress feels so slow right now, which makes me very anxious. Did anyone else feel like there was no improvement in the first few weeks, but saw better results later with therapy?

In my long life, I have seen several friends recover from strokes. My colleague had one fifteen years ago, and with determination and the right medical care, he returned to work within six months. It requires patience, but do not lose heart.

Absolutely, recovery is very common. Consistent daily physiotherapy exercises are the most important factor in regaining mobility.
