Can pancreatitis cause chest pain?

I've been experiencing upper abdominal pain that sometimes radiates to my chest, along with nausea. My doctor mentioned pancreatitis as a possibility. Can pancreatitis really cause chest pain, or should I be worried about my heart too?

Actually, the pain from the pancreas can radiate upwards into your chest and back, making it feel like chest pain. I know guys who thought they had a chest pull from heavy lifting, but it was internal. Definitely keep your diet super clean and low-fat if your pancreas is acting up.

Dealing with chronic issues has made me very careful about body pains. Pancreatitis pain can travel up to the chest area, which is really scary. Please don't try to manage this alone, consult a healthcare professional to find the exact cause.

Haan na, the pain can go straight to the chest and even the left shoulder, which makes people panic. It is because of the inflammation near the diaphragm, ho na. Please go to a clinic and get it checked, don't ignore chest pain.

Oh God, chest pain combined with pancreatitis thoughts would make my anxiety go through the roof. I completely understand how terrifying this must feel. Just remember that the nerves are connected, so pain can travel, but getting a doctor's reassurance will help calm your mind.

I am new here and trying to learn because my dad has some mild pancreatitis. Does this chest pain feel like a sharp squeeze, or is it more of a dull ache that spreads? I hope he doesn't get this symptom, it sounds really frightening.
