Can pain increase glucose levels?

I'm diabetic and try to control my diet strictly, but sometimes my glucose levels still spike unexpectedly. I recently had a dental surgery that caused significant pain for a few days. Could that pain have increased my glucose levels?

Yaar 45 ke baad toh lagta hai hawa chalne se bhi glucose badh jata hai! But seriously, severe pain body me stress dalti hai, jisse cortisol badhta hai aur sugar jump karti hai. Iska control physician ke haath me hi chhodna sahi hai.

Haan na! Hum dukh dard me rona rote hain aur hamari body andar hi andar sweets banani shuru kar deti hai! Body ka automatic response hai glucose spike karna, extreme cases me doctor ko dikhao warna thoda deep breathing karo.

Pain or discomfort signals stress to your pancreas and liver, raising sugar level instantly. It is quite common, dear. But do monitor it carefully for a week, and if it stays high, then consult your doctor.

Actually yaar, intense bodily pain triggers a fight-or-flight response which directly increases glucose. Mere dad ko jab kidney stone pain tha tab unka sugar bohot high aa gaya tha. Pain normal hone pe sab set ho gaya, so dont worry too much.

Main abhi online research hi kar raha tha aur dekha ki stress induced hyperglycemia kaafi common hai jab intense pain ho. Mujhe laga nahi tha aisa correlation hoga, par scientific study toh yahi kehti hai. Kisi doctor se double check karana best rahega.
