Can pain increase blood sugar levels?

I have type 2 diabetes and sometimes experience severe migraines. I've noticed that after a particularly bad migraine, my blood sugar readings are higher than usual. I wanted to ask if pain can actually increase blood sugar levels.

Actually yes, my continuous glucose monitor (CGM) showed a significant glucose spike when I had a severe hamstring tear last month. Cortisol from physical stress alters metabolism, which you can easily track on any modern fitness app. Keep an eye on it!

Hey, relax, don't stress too much! Sudden back pain or toothaches make the body panic, causing temporary sugar jumps. Just focus on recovery and get a normal checkup done when you're feeling better.

Yes, chronic discomfort raises blood sugar due to lack of movement and increased stress hormones. If your doctor allows, simple light walking or basic mobility movements can help insulin process better and control those spikes.

Haan bhai, jab sharir me continuous dard rahega toh system thoda bikhregi hi. Isme faltu chinta karne ke badle, test karwa lo aur report lekar doctor se seedhi baat karo.

Hamari umar me jab ghutno me dukh hota hai tab sugar check karne par higher reading dikhti hai. Yeh koi nayi baat nahi hai beta, dard ka dimaag aur khoon par asar padta hi hai. Thoda rest lo aur bhagwan ka naam lo, sab thik hoga.

Yes, intense pain triggers stress hormones which directly result in a temporary rise in blood sugar levels.
