Can pain cause exhaustion?

For months now, I've been dealing with chronic back pain, and lately, I feel completely drained all the time. My body just feels so heavy, and it's hard to get anything done. I'm wondering if this constant pain can actually make you feel this exhausted?

Absolutely, it does. Dealing with constant pain drains your body's energy reserves completely. It’s a physical reality, so don't push yourself and get proper medical advice to manage the pain.

Oh god, yes! Whenever I have even a mild toothache or back pain, I feel so tired and start worrying if it's something serious. The constant worry combined with physical discomfort is just so exhausting. Please rest as much as you can and take care of yourself.

Yes, chronic pain is very draining and can make you feel completely exhausted. Please take some time off to rest and let your body heal. I hope you feel better soon.

My mother always tells me that pain burns up all our internal energy, which is why we feel so sleepy and weak. It is very natural for the body to feel exhausted when fighting pain. Please take some warm, light food and consult your doctor for proper treatment.

When I was dealing with severe joint pain, I went to a specialist at Apollo and they explained how chronic pain disrupts sleep cycles, leading to extreme exhaustion. I highly recommend visiting a good hospital and asking your doctor to explain the link clearly so you can get targeted therapy.
