Can one live with one kidney?

My friend had to get one of his kidneys removed due to a medical condition. I'm wondering how life changes after that. Can someone actually live a normal, healthy life with just one kidney?

Yes, you can absolutely live a completely normal life with just one kidney. I know people who do. Just make sure to drink plenty of water, eat a low-salt diet, and avoid heavy painkiller medications, as they can put pressure on the single kidney.

Actually yaar, my uncle donated his kidney to his sister fifteen years ago and he is living a super healthy life even today. He travels, works, and does everything normally. You just have to do yearly kidney function tests to be safe.

I was born with only one kidney and I always feel so anxious about my future health. I constantly worry if it will fail or if I can't enjoy life like normal people. Has anyone else lived with a single kidney for decades without any major issues?

Absolutely, it's 100% possible. Thousands of kidney donors live perfectly healthy, normal lifespans with just one kidney. You don't need to overthink it, just keep your blood pressure in check and avoid excessive protein powders without a doctor's guidance.

I completely understand how scary it sounds when you first hear about living with one kidney, it makes you feel so vulnerable. But medically, the remaining kidney actually grows a bit to do the work of both! Just follow your doctor's basic lifestyle tips and you will be absolutely fine.

Yes, one kidney is more than enough to handle life's daily business! Just don't overload it with too much alcohol or junk food, and you will do fine. At my age, even with two kidneys, I have to watch my diet anyway!

Haan bilkul, log aaram se puri zindagi guzar dete hain ek kidney ke saath, koi tension nahi hai. Bas thoda regular checkup karwate rehna chahiye aur salt thoda limits mein rakhna, na? Baaki sab badhiya chalega, chill karo!

Living with one kidney is very safe, but you must take extra care of your health. Drink fresh barley water occasionally to flush out toxins, but make sure to consult your doctor before starting any intense diet or if you ever notice swelling or back pain.

Bro, my cousin has had only one kidney since childhood due to some medical issue. He plays football, goes to the gym, and lives just like any of us. You just have to stay hydrated and avoid high-contact sports where you might get hit in the back.
