Can oil pulling heal cavities?

My aunt swears by oil pulling for all dental issues and says it can even heal cavities. Is there any truth to this? Can oil pulling really heal existing cavities?

Chalo direct baat karte hain boss. Oil pulling is good for basic hygiene, but it won't magically rebuild a tooth that has already decayed. Don't waste your time expecting miracles here. Go to a dentist, get it filled, and be free of the headache.

Ghar pe cold-pressed coconut oil se gargle karna daanto ke liye bohot accha hai, main khud karti hoon. But if you have proper black spots or pain, home remedies won't heal the decay. If it hurts or if the cavity is big, please see a dentist immediately before the infection spreads.

I totally get it, tooth issues are so stressful and finding a natural cure sounds like the perfect option. But honestly, once the enamel is damaged and a cavity forms, oil pulling can't reverse that structural damage. I hope you find a gentle dentist who can fix it up quickly for you.

Has anyone else actually tried this and ended up making their tooth pain worse? I was doing oil pulling with coconut oil for weeks thinking it would heal my cavity, but then the tooth started aching terribly at night. Did I wait too long to see the doctor? Really worried now.

Haha, if oil pulling could heal cavities, all the dentists in India would be selling tea on the roadside by now! It's great for fresh breath, but for the actual hole in your tooth, you'll have to let the dentist do their drilling drama. Don't worry, it's not as painful as it sounds!
