Can no sleep cause seizures?

My cousin has epilepsy, and he always says he needs to get proper sleep to avoid seizures. I was thinking, can lack of sleep actually cause seizures in people who might be predisposed or even in healthy individuals? It makes me a bit nervous.

Haan na, sleep is so crucial for our brain. I have heard that severe sleep deprivation can actually trigger seizures, especially in people who already have epilepsy. Brain ko rest nahi milega toh pressure toh aayega na. Please take care and sleep on time.

Wait, is this really true? I've been pulling all-nighters for my exams lately and now I'm feeling really dizzy and twitchy. Has anyone else felt like they might black out from extreme sleep deprivation? Now I'm getting really scared to sleep late.

I deal with hormone issues, and I know how much sleep affects our nervous system. From what I've read, extreme sleep deprivation lowers the seizure threshold in the brain. It's a very serious thing, so please consult a neurologist if you are feeling abnormally twitchy.

Our nervous system needs deep rest to function without glitches. Lack of sleep overexcites the brain cells, which can trigger seizures in sensitive individuals. Along with prioritizing your sleep, try doing gentle Bhramari Pranayama before bed to calm your mind.

Beta, in my youth I saw a colleague faint and have a fit after staying awake for nearly three days straight for a project. The doctors said his brain just short-circuited due to no rest. Do not push your body beyond its limits, sleep is non-negotiable.

Working 14-hour days is common, but sacrificing sleep entirely is dangerous. Lack of sleep is a well-known trigger for neurological episodes, including seizures. If you are experiencing muscle twitches or blanking out, stop working and schedule an appointment with a doctor immediately.

Getting a good night's sleep is the best natural remedy to keep your brain healthy. But please remember, if someone is actually experiencing seizures or severe fainting spells, no home remedy will help. You must take them to a doctor or hospital immediately.
