Can nipple piercings lead to breast cancer?

Thinking of getting nipple piercings, but my aunt told me a scary story about someone who got breast cancer after getting one. Is there any truth to this? Can nipple piercings really lead to breast cancer in the long run?

Piercings do not cause breast cancer at all. Just like I focus on managing my high BP through regular checkups and a healthy lifestyle, you should just focus on basic hygiene and regular self-exams for overall breast health.

I asked my gynecologist about this before getting mine done. She assured me there is absolutely no scientific link between piercings and breast cancer. The only real risk is infection or nerve damage if not done by a professional.

Hey! Rest assured, a piercing only affects the skin and local tissue, it doesn't cause breast cancer. Just make sure to keep the area clean with saline solution to avoid painful infections while it heals.

No, child, a small needle piercing cannot cause cancer. In our villages, women pierce many parts and they are completely fine. Just keep it clean and don't worry about such big illnesses.

My family was very worried and told me it's unsafe, but our family doctor confirmed it has zero relation to breast cancer. Just go to a hygienic studio and let it heal properly. Trust the medical facts over rumors.
