Can nerve pain cause nausea?

This weird tingling nerve pain in my arm has been bothering me for a few days, and it sometimes makes me feel really sick to my stomach. Is there a connection? I'm wondering if nerve pain can actually cause nausea.

Yes, intense nerve pain can make you feel very nauseous because the body gets so overwhelmed. I usually try sipping some ginger-lemon water and lying down in a dark room. But please consult your doctor to manage the nerve issue properly.

Oh, absolutely! When your nerves are screaming in pain, your stomach decides to join the party with some nausea. It's like a bad double feature movie. Go see a doctor and get the nerve sorted so your stomach can behave!

I once ignored severe shooting pain and nausea thinking it was just gastric issues, and it turned out to be a major nerve compression. Please learn from my mistake and get a proper diagnosis from a physician right away.

My grandmother used to say that severe pain in any part of the body upsets the stomach fire, causing nausea. However, for nerve pain, simple home tips aren't enough. You should definitely meet a doctor for proper diagnosis.

It is the worst when nerve pain ruins your appetite and makes you feel nauseous! I couldn't even look at my favourite butter chicken. Definitely see a doctor to get your nerves sorted so you can enjoy your meals again.

I am also experiencing this and it is really scary. Does the nausea go away once the nerve pain is treated? I would be really grateful if anyone can suggest which kind of doctor I should consult for this.

Nerve pain coupled with nausea is a combination you should not ignore. It can sometimes point to systemic issues or a pinched nerve in the cervical/spine region. Please visit a neurologist or a general physician at the earliest.

I work 10 hours a day and had this issue. Severe nerve pain triggers a stress response in the body, which directly causes nausea. Don't waste time trying to guess the cause online. Book a doctor's appointment this weekend and get it sorted.

Beta, when the body's life force is disrupted by sharp nerve pain, the digestion also suffers, causing sickness. You can sip warm fennel tea to calm your stomach, but you must consult a doctor to heal the root nerve issue.

Please be very careful. I had severe sciatica nerve pain that started causing intense nausea, and I delayed seeing a specialist, which made the nerve damage worse. Do not wait; get a doctor to check you immediately.
