Can neck pain cause dizziness?

My neck has been really stiff and painful for the past few days, and with it, I've also been feeling quite dizzy and off-balance. Is it possible that my neck pain is causing these dizzy spells? They're making it hard to focus.

I was reading up on this because my cousin had it, and apparently it is called cervicogenic dizziness. It happens when neck joints send wrong signals to your brain. Still, it's best to show a doctor to rule out inner ear or pressure issues.

Oh yes! My neck stiffness used to make my head spin like a merry-go-round sometimes. 😅 Doing light neck stretches and taking proper rest really helped me feel steady again. Do check with a doc if it continues though!

I faced this exact same thing during my exams when I was constantly bent over books. The dizziness was so scary, but my physio said it was all due to my tight neck muscles. Please get it checked by a doc just to be on the safe side.

Yes, neck strain can cause it, but please check your blood sugar levels as well. When my sugar drops or goes too high, I get terrible dizziness which feels similar. Better to consult your doctor for a proper checkup.

Yes, it can. My wife had this issue and visiting a physiotherapist for neck exercises worked wonders for her dizziness.
