Can neck pain cause chest pain?

I've been experiencing a dull ache in my chest along with my regular neck pain, especially when I turn my head. Can neck pain actually cause chest pain, or should I be worried about my heart? It's a new symptom for me.

Actually, bad posture or a nerve pinch in the neck can cause pain to travel down your chest muscles. I tried heat packs and posture correctors, and it helped. But please rule out any heart issues first to be absolutely safe.

At my age, I have seen that a bad cervical issue can indeed mimic chest discomfort, which is very scary. Don't let your mind run wild. Go to a hospital, get your heart checked first, and if that's clear, focus on physical therapy.

The joys of crossing forty! One wrong tilt while sleeping and my neck acts up, and suddenly my chest feels tight too. If you are experiencing this, get a medical checkup done so you know if it's just your spine complaining or something else.

Sometimes heavy acidity from fried foods also causes a mix of chest and back tension. Try eating light, home-cooked food for a couple of days. If the chest pain doesn't go away or feels heavy, please visit a doctor immediately.

Yes, cervical angina is a real thing and a pinched neck nerve can cause chest pain. Definitely consult a doctor to get a clear diagnosis.

Haha, I once thought I was having a heart attack but it was just my neck protesting against a 6-hour binge-watching session! Nerve compression is weird like that. Seriously though, get a doc to confirm so you can breathe easy.

Yes, cervical issues can definitely radiate pain to the chest, but you should never self-diagnose chest pain. Go straight to a clinic and get an ECG done first. Once cardiac issues are ruled out, you can look at spine specialists.
