Can myoma cause cancer?

My sister has been diagnosed with uterine fibroids, which her doctor called myoma. We are very worried about her health. Can myoma actually turn into cancer, or are they usually benign?

Beta, don't worry too much. Myomas are almost always harmless, non-cancerous lumps in the uterus. My sister had one for years and she is perfectly fine. Just visit a good doctor nearby and get an ultrasound done to be sure.

Myomas, which are uterine fibroids, are benign tumors and they very rarely turn into cancer. It is just like managing diabetes—you keep regular checkups and don't panic. Focus on a balanced diet and visit your doctor for routine scans.

While myomas themselves are benign, sometimes they can grow very large and cause severe pain or bleeding complications like mine did. You should definitely see a proper gynecologist. Let them do an MRI or biopsy if required to rule out any rare issues.

I had a large myoma removed just six months ago because of heavy bleeding. The doctor tested it and confirmed what they always say—it is almost 99% benign. They do not turn into cancer, so please don't lose sleep over this.

In my family, several women have had fibroids diagnosed at different ages. None of them ever faced any cancerous issues because of it. It is a very common condition, so keep your mind calm and let the doctors guide you.

Haan, modern science says these uterine fibroids are totally non-cancerous, so chill maro na. It is extremely rare for them to be anything serious. Just get a routine ultrasound done once a year to keep a track of the size, bas.
