Can muscle tear cause fever?

I injured my leg playing cricket last week and think it might be a muscle tear. Since yesterday, I've also developed a slight fever. Can a muscle tear or injury actually cause you to get a fever?

Hey, that sounds really stressful. Normally, a simple muscle tear shouldn't cause a fever. If you are running a temperature, it could mean there is an infection somewhere or the body is under extreme trauma. Please get it checked by a doctor soon to be safe!

A standard muscle strain or minor tear typically does not cause a fever. However, a severe muscle rupture with hematoma can sometimes trigger a low-grade inflammatory fever, or there might be an underlying infection. I highly recommend consulting an orthopedic doctor for a proper scan.

Bhai, sadharan muscle tear mein bukhar nahi aata hai. Agar chot lagne ke baad shareer garm ho raha hai, toh ho sakta hai andar koi badi sujan ho ya infection ho gaya ho. Aap der mat kijiye aur turant doctor sahab ko dikhaiye.

My son had a severe hamstring tear during football, but he never got a fever with it. If you or your child has a fever along with muscle pain, it might be a viral infection like flu or dengue, not just the tear. Please consult a pediatrician or general physician.

My fitness app alerts me if my skin temperature rises post-workout, but a full-blown fever is a red flag. A normal muscle tear doesn't cause fever. If you have one, it could be a sign of systemic inflammation or a skin/tissue infection. Please consult a physician immediately.

In my experience, any fever combined with physical injury needs immediate medical attention. When you have pre-existing issues like high BP, you shouldn't let your body stay under such stress. Go to a hospital and get a proper physical examination done.

I tore my calf muscle last year in gym and there was no fever, just crazy swelling and pain. If you've got a fever, it's definitely something else playing up, maybe a viral bug or a deep tissue infection. Go see a doctor bro, don't wait.

Actually yaar, muscle tear se fever aana is not very common. Unless the injury is super severe and has caused internal bleeding, or there is some infection. Don't take it lightly, go to a clinic and get a basic blood test and checkup done.
