Can mt dew cause kidney stones?

My brother drinks a lot of Mountain Dew, sometimes several cans a day. Our uncle recently got kidney stones, and now my mother is worried about my brother's habit. Can drinking too much Mountain Dew really cause kidney stones?

Actually, yes, yaar. Mountain Dew is packed with sugar and artificial stuff, which can really dehydrate you and increase the risk of stones if you drink it regularly. Better to switch to nimbu paani or just plain water.

At my age, my body protests if I even look at a soft drink. Mountain Dew is loaded with high fructose corn syrup and acid, which are basically an open invitation for kidney stones. Stick to water unless you enjoy the thrill of passing a stone!

In our youth, we drank water from the well and rarely had these issues. These modern fizzy sodas like Mountain Dew are full of chemicals that put a lot of pressure on your kidneys. Stop these drinks, drink plenty of plain water, and you will stay healthy.

Hey, don't worry too much, having a small sip once in a while won't instantly give you stones. But yes, making it a daily habit is bad for your kidneys because of the high sugar. Just cut down on it and drink more water to keep yourself safe.

Why are you drinking so much soda anyway? Yes, drinking Mountain Dew and other sugary sodas regularly will definitely increase your chances of kidney stones because of the high sugar and dehydration. Stop these drinks and start drinking real water.

I ignored my soda habit for years until I ended up in the ER with severe kidney stone complications. Mountain Dew and similar drinks are terrible for your urinary tract health. If you are already experiencing back or side pain, please see a doctor immediately.

Our bodies are temples, and what we put inside matters greatly. Highly processed sodas like Mountain Dew disrupt the natural balance of your system and can lead to stones. Bless your body with pure, clean water instead and stay positive.

Bro, absolutely. I used to chug Mountain Dew during college exams and got a nasty kidney stone last year. The doctor straight up told me to stop drinking sodas because they dehydrate u and cause calcium build-up. Seriously, avoid it.

I didn't know sodas could affect the kidneys so much. Does Mountain Dew have specific ingredients that cause stones, or is it just the high amount of sugar? I'd appreciate it if someone could share more.

My son used to love drinking Mountain Dew, but he developed a small kidney stone last summer. The pediatrician explained that the high sugar and phosphoric acid in these drinks are main culprits. We have completely replaced sodas with homemade coconut water and fresh lime juice now.
