Can ms cause vomiting?

My sister has MS, and sometimes she gets episodes of severe vomiting. We're trying to figure out if it's related to her condition or something else. Is it possible for MS to directly cause vomiting?

While it's not the most common symptom, MS can sometimes cause nausea and vomiting if the brainstem is affected or due to medication side effects. Since I manage thyroid issues, I always suggest regular blood tests and checking in with your doctor to rule out other causes.

Bhai, vomiting can happen for many simple reasons like food not digesting well. But if you have MS and are feeling dizzy and vomiting, please tell your doctor immediately. Take care of your health, we are praying for you.

Before you spend a lot of money on expensive neurological tests or MRIs, make sure to consult a general physician first. Vomiting can be due to a simple stomach infection or acidity, which is much cheaper to treat. Plan your medical expenses wisely.

If you are experiencing nausea, keeping your diet very light and bland can help soothe your stomach. However, if MS is causing vertigo or balance issues that lead to vomiting, you need medical treatment rather than just dietary changes. Do speak with your specialist.

Don't panic if you've been feeling sick. MS can sometimes cause vertigo or nausea, which might lead to vomiting, but it could also be a simple stomach bug. Let's not worry too much, just get rest and let a doctor check you out to be safe.
