Can mri detect ovarian cancer?

My aunt was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and it was caught quite late. I'm wondering for future reference, can an MRI scan detect ovarian cancer effectively? I want to understand the best diagnostic methods for early detection.

Just like how I have to get regular HbA1c tests to monitor my diabetes, proper imaging is key for this. An pelvic MRI is indeed a very good tool that doctors use to get a detailed view of the ovaries and check for any abnormal growths. Please make sure to get it done if your doctor has advised it.

While keeping a clean diet and working out keeps your body strong, complex stuff like this needs proper medical scans. An MRI can actually help doctors look closely at the pelvis to see what's going on. Definitely rely on proper medical testing for these things rather than just lifestyle changes.

Yes, an MRI can definitely spot it! Think of it as a super-high-definition Bollywood camera taking a look inside your pelvis. Don't worry, the machine might make some weird dubstep noises, but it is excellent at finding exactly what is happening.

Been up since 3 AM reading about medical tests, and yes, from what my tired brain remembers, pelvic MRIs are super useful for identifying these things. They give a really clear picture of soft tissues. Now I should probably close my eyes and stop doom-scrolling, and you should talk to a doctor too!

My daughter had to go through a pelvic MRI last year when we were investigating some cyst issues. The doctors told us it's one of the best ways to tell if a mass on the ovary looks benign or suspicious. It is a very safe and detailed test, so please don't hesitate to get it done for peace of mind.
