Can moderate pso turn into psoriatic arthritis?

I was diagnosed with moderate psoriasis a few years ago. My doctor mentioned that some people with psoriasis also develop psoriatic arthritis. I'm scared about this progression. Can moderate psoriasis turn into psoriatic arthritis?

While diet alone can't cure it, eating anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric, green leafy vegetables, and avoiding processed sugar can support your body. But yes, psoriasis can progress to arthritis, so keep monitoring your joints.

Please don't try random ayurvedic or home remedies you find online to prevent this. Psoriatic arthritis is a serious autoimmune condition. Verify everything with a qualified rheumatologist before trying any self-treatment.

Yes, about 30% of people with psoriasis can develop psoriatic arthritis. Watch out for any swelling in your fingers or toes.

I have moderate plaque psoriasis and my lower back has started hurting recently. I'm so scared this is turning into arthritis. Has anyone else experienced this progression?

I tried all kinds of herbal oils and pastes for my moderate psoriasis, but when my joints started aching, I realized home remedies weren't enough. It can definitely progress, so please see a rheumatologist early on.

When I went to Apollo for my skin checkup, the dermatologist clearly told me to report any joint pain immediately. You need to ask your doctor clearly about the risk factors and what warning signs to look out for.

Both psoriasis and diabetes are inflammatory issues, so keeping your systemic inflammation low is crucial. If you feel any joint stiffness in the morning, do not ignore it. Get your blood markers checked and consult your doctor.
