Can migraine cause death?

I suffer from very severe migraines that sometimes make me completely incapacitated. I'm often worried about the severity. Can a migraine attack ever be so bad that it causes death?

No yaar, actually migraine itself doesn't cause death. It feels so horrible that you literally feel like your head will explode, but it is not fatal. Just take your prescribed meds and rest in a dark room, chill.

Beta, don't worry at all, migraine pain is very severe but it does not take anyone's life. Drink some warm ginger tea and rest nicely in a quiet room. God will make everything fine, just don't take tension.

My neurologist clearly explained that a standard migraine does not cause death. In very rare cases, migrainous infarction can occur, but that is extremely uncommon. He advised that any sudden change in headache patterns or neurological symptoms warrants an urgent MRI, not the usual migraine itself.

Having dealt with migraines for twenty years, I can reassure you that they are not life-threatening. However, if you suddenly experience the worst headache of your life, or have numbness or slurred speech, go to the hospital immediately. Otherwise, it is just a painful episode that will pass with rest.

I always visit Medanta for my health issues because Google just scares you. Please ask your doctor clearly about your symptoms instead of reading scary things online. They will give you the right preventative medicine so you don't have to suffer like this.

I get bad hormonal migraines because of my PCOS, and honestly, the pain makes me feel so helpless. But it is not fatal. I try to track my triggers and stay hydrated, though I always check with my gynecologist if the pattern changes even a little bit.

My teenage daughter gets such severe migraines that she vomits and cries, which used to terrify me. Our pediatrician assured us it's not dangerous or life-threatening. We just make sure she drinks water, rests in a dark room, and takes her doctor-prescribed medicine on time.

I can only tell you about my own experience with migraines since college. The pain is absolutely terrible, but it has never caused any life-threatening issues for me. I just manage with my doctor's prescribed emergency pill and plenty of rest.

Haan na, it feels so bad we think something serious is happening inside our head. But migraine doesn't cause death, ho na. Just apply some balm, try to sleep, and the pain will slowly go down by tomorrow morning.

Honestly, during an attack, death actually sounds like a peaceful option! But jokes aside, no, it won't kill you. You will just be super tired, sleep-deprived, and grumpy for a day or two. Go lie down and switch off your phone.

It won't kill you, bro, so relax. But a bad lifestyle, dehydration, and poor sleep definitely trigger them more. Once the attack is over, try focusing on a clean diet and light daily exercise to keep your nervous system in check.

I once ignored a continuous severe headache thinking it was just my usual migraine, but it turned out to be dangerously high blood pressure. Don't assume everything is just a migraine. If the pain feels different or very sudden, please go get a proper checkup immediately.
