Can menopause cause vomiting?

My elder sister just started menopause, and she's been complaining of nausea and sometimes even vomiting. We always thought menopause was about hot flashes and mood swings. Can it really cause vomiting also?

My mom logged some crazy nausea symptoms on her health tracker last year when she was transitioning. Sometimes severe hot flashes can trigger a sudden feeling of dizziness and vomiting. It's best to track when it happens so you can show the patterns to her gynecologist.

Actually, my mami went through this exact same thing. She would randomly feel pukish during hot flashes, yaar. It was so weird because we didn't know menopause could do that. A quick visit to her gynaecologist sorted it out with some mild meds.

Oh, back in my fifties, I used to feel so nauseous every morning, almost like my early pregnancy days! It can happen when your body is adjusting to the changing hormones. Don't worry too much, but do drink some warm ginger water and consult your regular doctor if it gets too heavy.

I can totally understand how terrifying it feels when you start vomiting out of nowhere. I used to get so anxious thinking it was something life-threatening. But yes, hormonal shifts can absolutely trigger nausea. Do take deep breaths and speak to a professional to ease your mind.

I didn't know this was possible, but I searched some medical forums and apparently hormonal spikes can mess up your gut completely. The estrogen crash can cause stomach acidity and nausea, which might lead to vomiting for some women. It sounds super exhausting though.

Please be very careful with frequent vomiting. I ignored my symptoms thinking it was just menopause acidity, but it turned out to be a severe gallbladder issue that needed immediate surgery. If you cannot keep food down or feel very weak, go see your doctor immediately.

My mother used to get sudden bouts of vomiting during her menopause transition. Sipping on cold lemon water and eating very light, non-greasy meals throughout the day helped her a lot. Just make sure you stay hydrated with some coconut water too!
