Can magnetic bracelets help arthritis?

My arthritis pain has become quite severe, especially in my hands. A neighbour told me about magnetic bracelets and how they helped her. Do these magnetic bracelets actually work for arthritis relief, or is it just a placebo?

Honestly I have tried these magnetic bands, copper rings, and even special oils for my knee pain. They might give a tiny soothing feel because of the warmth, but they don't actually cure the joint damage. Please don't waste too much money on expensive ones, just focus on simple warm oil massages and exercises.

My uncle wore one for months and the only thing it attracted was his metal keychain! If magnets actually worked like that, we would just hug a refrigerator to cure body aches. They look quite cool on the wrist though, so wear it as fashion if you like, but keep your doctor's prescriptions ready.

Listen, don't stress yourself running after these shortcut magnets. There is no solid scientific proof that they change anything inside the joints. Just stick to the medication your doctor gave and do light walks daily. We want you to heal safely, not run after these gimmicks.

Please be very careful with these alternative gadgets. I kept relying on a heavy copper-magnetic bracelet for my wrist arthritis instead of taking real treatment, and my joint swelling got so bad that I could not even hold a spoon. Go to a rheumatologist before the joints get permanently damaged.

I actually asked my orthopedist about this last month because my mom wanted one. He clearly told me that clinical studies have shown magnetic bracelets have a placebo effect at best. They don't reduce the actual inflammation or pain of arthritis, so it is better to spend on proper physiotherapy.

I was suffering from severe elbow arthritis last winter and bought a highly rated magnetic strap online. Did absolutely nothing for my pain, honestly. What actually got me back on track was targeted physiotherapy sessions and the anti-inflammatory diet my doc suggested.
