Can lupus cause vomiting?

Having lupus for some years, I usually manage my symptoms well. But recently, I've had episodes of unexplained nausea and vomiting. I'm trying to figure out if this could be related to my lupus condition.

Vomiting in lupus patients can stem from gastrointestinal inflammation, medication side effects, or even kidney issues. Because the causes can range from simple acid reflux to serious flare-ups, getting a professional evaluation is the safest course of action.

I used to throw up frequently during my initial lupus flares, mostly due to my heavy medication dosage. My tip is to never take these pills on an empty stomach and ask your doctor if they can prescribe an antacid or anti-nausea pill. Sipping ginger water also helps soothe the stomach.

My aunt has lupus and she gets super nauseous and vomits whenever she has a bad flare-up. It honestly looks so exhausting. She usually just rests in a dark room and sips electoral water until it passes, but she always calls her doc if it doesn't stop.

Aap thoda thoda karke paani piyo aur dahi-chawal khao, isse pet ko thandak milegi. Par ulti zyada ho toh doctor babu ko zaroor dikhana.

Ugh, vomiting is the worst because it completely ruins my appetite for tasty food! When my lupus flares and makes me nauseous, I stick to super light stuff like khichdi or coconut water. Definitely talk to your doctor so you can get back to enjoying your meals soon!
