Can low blood pressure causes stroke?

My father often has very low blood pressure, and we worry about his health. Can having consistently low blood pressure increase the risk of something serious like a stroke?

Haan na, extreme low BP se brain ko proper blood nahi milta, toh risk toh rehta hai. But directly stroke hona thoda rare hai standard low BP me. Tension mat lo jyada, bas doctor se check karwa lo, ho na?

Listen buddy, don't stress too much about this. While severely low blood pressure can technically reduce blood flow to the brain, it is usually high BP that is the main culprit for strokes. Still, if you're feeling very dizzy, just go get a quick checkup done to be safe.

For mild low BP, drinking fresh nimbu paani with a pinch of salt helps a lot at home. But a stroke is a very serious medical emergency. If you are experiencing sudden weakness, slurred speech, or heavy dizziness, please do not wait for home remedies and go to a hospital immediately.

Whoa, that sounds pretty scary. Honestly, I always thought only high BP causes strokes, but u never know. If u are feeling super lightheaded or weak, dont just ignore it. Better to go to a clinic and get it checked out rather than searching online.

Hey there! Try not to worry too much, but definitely take care of your health. Extremely low BP can sometimes reduce blood flow to the brain, so it is always best to be careful. Please visit a friendly doctor for a quick checkup to stay safe and healthy! 😊

I had a massive scare last year when my blood pressure dropped too low and I fainted, leading to other complications. Severe hypotension can definitely restrict oxygen to the brain, which is dangerous. Please do not take this lightly and consult a cardiologist or general physician as soon as possible.

According to what my doctor explained, while high BP is the common cause of stroke, extremely low blood pressure can cause an ischemic stroke. This happens because the blood flow to the brain becomes too weak to supply enough oxygen. He advised keeping a BP monitor at home and consulting immediately if it drops below 90/60 consistently.

I had a sudden dip in my BP once and felt completely blank and weak. My doc told me that if BP drops extremely low, it can actually cause an ischemic stroke because the brain doesn't get enough blood. It's rare, but definitely not something to ignore. Go see a professional.

While diet can help manage mild low BP through hydration and proper salt intake, severe drops in pressure can be dangerous. Reduced blood flow to the brain is a serious concern. Please seek immediate medical advice rather than trying to fix severe symptoms with food changes.

I cannot give any medical advice on this, but I can share my experience. My uncle had chronic low blood pressure and his doctor always monitored him closely to prevent any sudden fainting or brain perfusion issues. It is always best to let a qualified physician handle these serious concerns.
