Can low back pain cause testicular pain?

For the past few weeks, I've had a nagging lower back pain. Now, I've also started feeling some discomfort in my testicles. Is it possible that low back pain can cause testicular pain?

My uncle suggested using warm herbal compresses for lower back stiffness, which sometimes helps. But for pain radiating down to the testicles, you must consult a urologist as the nerves are closely connected.

Yes, pinched nerves in the lower spine can actually send pain signals down there! It is called referred pain. Just get it checked by a doctor to be absolutely sure! 👍

Actually yaar, the nerve paths are totally connected, so a bad back strain can feel like groin pain. But honestly, any pain down there is super uncomfortable, so just get a quick checkup to be safe.

Getting older means one back spasm can make your whole body ache in places you didn't even know were connected! But seriously, referred pain from the spine is a real thing, so don't ignore it.

Yes, it is clinically called referred pain from the genitofemoral or ilioinguinal nerves. However, to rule out local issues like epididymitis or varicocele, please get physically examined by a doctor.

Yes, the nerves from the L1-L2 spinal level run down to the groin area. I have seen many people think they have a testicular issue when it was actually a mild disc bulge. Get an MRI or consult an orthopedic doctor.

Don't panic, but please don't neglect this either. While spine nerves can definitely cause referred pain down there, you need a proper doctor to check both your back and groin to ensure there is no hernia or infection.
