Can liver restore itself?

My sister was very ill recently, and her liver was affected. We heard that the liver has amazing regenerative powers. Can the liver really restore itself fully after an illness or injury?

Drinking warm water with lemon and eating turmeric helps cleanse the system naturally. But if there is severe pain in the stomach or yellow eyes, please go to a doctor immediately.

I didn't know the liver could do this on its own, that is so comforting to hear. Does anyone know if simple home-cooked food is enough, or do we need special supplements too?

I can't say about the medical science of it, but when I quit fatty foods and alcohol for six months, my doctor told me my liver health had improved drastically. My fatigue also went away completely.

Yes, it restores itself beautifully, but only if you stop stressing it with alcohol and junk food. Cut out bakery items, do daily walking for 30 minutes, and drink plenty of water. Give it at least 6 to 12 months.

I totally get it, worrying about organ health can make you feel so anxious. Just know that our body is very resilient and your liver will recover if you start taking care of it from today.

Honestly, my liver is probably the only hardworking employee in my body right now while I survive on 4 hours of sleep. If it can handle my terrible sleep schedule, it can definitely heal itself with a little rest.
