Can liver repair itself after years drinking?

I used to drink quite heavily for many years, but I've been sober for a while now. I know the liver is supposed to be able to regenerate. Can it truly repair itself even after such a long period of heavy drinking?

My uncle went through this after drinking for almost fifteen years. Honestly, the key is complete abstinence from alcohol and eating simple ghar ka khana. The liver is super resilient, so don't lose hope!

Bro, my dad's doc said the liver is like a lizard's tail, it literally regenerates. But you have to completely pause the drinking, no cheat days. Just get a proper doctor checkup done first to see the current status.

Haan bilkul, recovery absolutely ho sakti hai agar abhi se strict break le lo toh. Clean water piyo aur deep-fried chizein bilkul band kar do na. Body automatically respond karne lagegi jaldi hi.

I am also wondering the same thing because my family member has been drinking for years and we are very scared. Did anyone's reports actually show improvement after a few months of stopping? Please share your experience, it will help calm my mind.

It can definitely bounce back if you combine zero alcohol with regular workouts. Start with light cardio daily and eat clean protein and leafy greens to support the recovery process. Proper blood circulation and a clean diet do wonders for internal organs.
