Can liver hurt your back?

I've had this persistent pain in my upper right back, just below my shoulder blade, and it doesn't seem to go away. My mother, who had liver issues, used to complain about similar pain. Can a problem with the liver actually cause pain in your back?

Dealing with thyroid issues has taught me that internal organs can cause strange referred pain elsewhere, including the back. It is so important to get regular blood tests and consult a doctor instead of ignoring it. Please get an LFT and ultrasound done to be sure.

Yes, liver inflammation can cause a dull ache that feels like it is in your back, especially on the right side. Since I manage my diabetes, I keep a close eye on all organ health and diet. It's best to consult a doctor to rule out liver issues.

Yes, actually! Sometimes liver pain can radiate to your right shoulder or upper back. I had a similar scare last year and thought it was just muscle strain, but my doc explained how referred pain works. Keep an eye on it and see a doctor if it doesn't go away.

Haan, liver pain actually back side pe radiate ho sakta hai, hume lagta hai back ache hai par wo liver se hota hai na. Bilkul ignore mat karo, ek baar doctor se check up karwa lo.

In yoga, we understand that body pains are interconnected. Severe liver congestion can cause referred pain to the right side of your back. Gentle stretches can help if it is muscular, but if it is the liver, you must seek medical advice first.

Wait, I didn't even know liver issues could cause back pain, that's wild. If you've been sitting too much studying like me it might just be posture, but definitely get it checked if you feel other symptoms too!

Yes, liver pain can definitely feel like it is coming from your back or right shoulder. You should get it checked by a doctor to find the real cause.
