Can liver cancer be cured with chemotherapy?

My uncle is undergoing treatment for liver cancer, and his doctor has suggested chemotherapy. We are trying to understand the effectiveness of this treatment. Can liver cancer actually be cured with chemotherapy, or does it just manage symptoms?

Chemotherapy is tough, but doctors use it to control the cancer or shrink it. In my experience with family, it's rarely a standalone cure for liver cancer—they usually prefer surgery if possible. But hey, let the doctors do the heavy lifting, we just have to keep our spirits up!

Chemotherapy usually helps control the disease or shrink tumors, but a complete cure often requires surgery. Please consult your oncologist for the best path.

Chemotherapy is a difficult path, but it can help manage the illness and buy precious time. Keep your faith strong, stay positive, and let the doctors guide you through this journey. Praying for your strength and recovery.

My relative had severe complications during chemo for liver issues, so it is a very delicate process. Chemotherapy is often used to manage liver cancer rather than cure it completely, which usually needs surgery. Please speak to an oncologist very carefully about all potential risks.

Modern medical science has come a long way! While chemo helps control and shrink the tumor, doctors often combine it with other treatments for the best results. Keep smiling and stay hopeful, you've got this!

Look, chemotherapy alone is rarely a magic cure for liver cancer; it is mostly used to shrink the tumor before surgery or to manage it. Go to a reputed cancer hospital and let the specialists decide the best treatment plan instead of guessing.
