Can lightheadedness be a sign of cancer?

Since last week, I've been feeling lightheaded quite often, especially when I stand up quickly. My aunt recently got diagnosed with cancer, and now I'm worried if this feeling could be a serious symptom for me too. Is it something I should be really concerned about?

I was looking up symptoms of low blood pressure and honestly, lightheadedness is linked to so many everyday things like dehydration or low sugar. Jumping to cancer straight away is usually just an internet search scare.

I used to get lightheaded constantly and worried about the worst. It turned out to be severe vitamin B12 deficiency and dehydration; just drink water, get a basic blood test done, and don't panic.

I completely understand the anxiety because I also Google every small symptom and end up panicking about cancer. It is almost always something very minor, but please see a doctor just to put your mind at ease.

I had constant dizzy spells last year and got terrified. My doctor did some tests and it was just a mild inner ear infection that cleared up in a week with simple tablets.

Instead of wasting hours worrying on the internet, just book a simple blood test and consult a general physician. Nine times out of ten, it's just stress, fatigue, or lack of proper meals.
