Can lactose intolerance cause fever?

My child is lactose intolerant and sometimes after having something with dairy by mistake, along with stomach issues, he also gets a low-grade fever. I'm wondering, can lactose intolerance actually cause a fever?

Nahi babu, lactose intolerance se dahi-doodh pachne me takleef hoti hai aur pet kharab hota hai, par bukhar nahi aata. Agar aapko tej bukhar hai, toh kisi acche doctor ko dikha lijiye. Sharir ke sath laparwahi thik nahi hai.

I've been lactose intolerant for ten years, and it only causes bloating, cramps, and diarrhea, never a fever. If you have a fever, you might have food poisoning from contaminated dairy, or some stomach infection. Stop dairy immediately and visit a clinic.

Usually, dairy sensitivity only upsets the stomach, not cause a fever. If your body is fighting a fever, it might be due to some other infection. Keep a calm mind, drink warm water, and seek proper medical guidance to heal yourself.

I know how stressful it is when your stomach is in knots and you suddenly feel warm and sick. But lactose intolerance usually just limits itself to gut issues. If you have a fever, it is probably a separate infection making you feel so down. Take care of yourself.

Lactose sensitivity is a digestive imbalance, not an infection, so it does not cause a fever. A fever means the body is generating heat to fight off a pathogen. Rest deeply, practice light deep breathing, and consult a doctor if the temperature rises.

I've had digestive issues alongside my thyroid, and lactose intolerance has never given me a fever. A fever points toward an infection or inflammation that needs medical attention. Please consult your physician and get routine blood tests done to find out what's wrong.

Lactose issues only cause gas and loose motions, not fever. For the stomach upset, you can drink mint tea or ginger water, which really helps. But if you have an actual fever, home remedies won't cure it—you need a doctor's prescription.

Please be very careful. Lactose intolerance itself won't cause a fever, but a severe gut infection or colitis can present with both dairy sensitivity and fever. Don't self-medicate at home; please go see a doctor immediately to rule out anything serious.
