Can lack of sleep cause headaches?

Lately, I've been getting headaches almost every day, and they feel quite persistent. I'm usually working very late and getting only 4-5 hours of sleep. My doctor advised me to fix my sleep, but can lack of sleep really cause such frequent headaches?

Yes, a bad night's sleep is the most common reason for a heavy head. Don't worry, just drink some water, eat something light, and try to take a nap today. If the pain is very severe, please consult a doctor.

Yaar, don't stress too much! My head feels like it will explode every time I sleep late. Just put your phone away, close your eyes, and rest. You'll feel much better.

I always get so worried that my headache is something serious, but usually, it's just from poor sleep. Try to rest, but if the pain is sudden and extremely sharp, please see a doctor immediately.

Sleeplessness definitely triggers tension headaches. Make sure you are also drinking enough water and not skipping meals, as low blood sugar makes it worse. See a doctor if it persists.

In our time, we drank warm milk with cardamom to sleep well and avoid morning headaches. Try to sleep at a fixed time. If the headache is accompanied by dizziness, see a doctor.

I used to apply ginger paste on my forehead when sleeplessness caused headaches, but honestly, only a solid 8 hours of sleep actually cures it. Please consult a doctor if the headache doesn't go away.

Haan, bilkul sahi baat hai. Less sleep means solid headache the next day, na. Thoda rest karo aur screen time kam karo. Agar dard zyaada hai toh doctor ko dikhao.

My grandmother always says that a warm foot soak before sleeping prevents morning headaches. It is a good practice, but if your headache is severe or recurring, please consult a doctor.

Over the years, I have learned that neglecting sleep always pays back in the form of a bad headache. Your body is telling you to slow down. Rest well, and don't hesitate to visit a doctor.

I was reading that sleep deprivation lowers your pain threshold, making migraine triggers much stronger. It makes total sense why we get headaches. Better check with a doctor if it's regular.
