Can lack of sleep cause chest pain?

Sometimes I feel a dull ache or pressure in my chest, especially after nights when I've barely slept. My wife is worried and thinks it might be serious, but I'm wondering if it could just be from extreme tiredness. Can not sleeping enough really cause chest pain?

At 50, even thinking about less sleep gives me some ache or the other! Jokes aside, acidity from sleeplessness can mimic chest pain, but let's not guess. Chest issues need a proper doctor's visit, so go get checked.

Honestly, when I pull late nights for work, my chest sometimes feels heavy and weird. But please don't take chest pain lightly, okay? If it's a sharp pain or if you feel breathless, you must see a doctor immediately.

I was actually reading a thread on this yesterday. Apparently, chronic sleep deprivation stresses the heart and spikes blood pressure, which can cause tightness. Still, chest pain is a major red flag, so please visit a clinic soon.

I completely understand how terrifying it is to feel that tightness in your chest when you haven't slept. I used to panic so much, which actually made the pain worse. Please go to a hospital to rule out anything serious so your mind can rest.

Whenever I face such symptoms, I straight away go to a good hospital nearby. I highly recommend you consult a proper doctor to run an ECG or basic tests. Don't rely on self-diagnosis or internet forums for chest pain.

Sleeplessness makes the whole body suffer, ho na. But chest pain can be very serious, and we should never ignore it. Thoda sleep cycle check karo, but first definitely show this to a doctor.
