Can kissing transmit hepatitis b?

I recently learned about Hepatitis B and how it spreads, and I'm a bit worried. I'm wondering if it's possible to get it through kissing. Can Hepatitis B be transmitted that way, or only through other body fluids?

Hepatitis B is primarily transmitted through blood and semen, not usually through casual kissing. However, if there are open cuts, sores, or bleeding gums in the mouth, the risk is real. The most realistic tip is to ensure your partner is fully vaccinated against Hep B.

If you are worried, getting a Hepatitis B screening test is very affordable at most local labs, and the three-dose vaccine is also reasonably priced. It is highly cost-effective to get tested and vaccinated early rather than dealing with treatment later.

Generally speaking, deep kissing has a very low risk of spreading it unless there is blood involved! But to keep your mind completely relaxed, just get vaccinated—it's super easy and highly effective. Stay safe and happy!

I completely panicked when my partner was diagnosed and thought I would catch it from kissing, but my doctor reassured me that normal saliva doesn't easily transmit it. I got tested, took the vaccine, and everything was perfectly fine. Don't worry too much.

While the transmission risk through kissing is very minimal, any health worry like this can spike your stress levels. I always focus on getting regular blood checkups to monitor my overall liver health and keep my blood pressure in check.

Normal kissing se toh nahi hota, haan na but agar mouth mein cuts ya bleeding gums hain toh risk thoda badh jata hai. It is always better to clear these doubts directly with a doctor to avoid any unnecessary worry, ho na.
