Can kidney stones stay in the kidney?

I've had a kidney stone for a few months now, and it's not causing much pain, so doc says it's stable. Will it always try to move, or can it just remain in the kidney without causing problems? I'm hoping it won't give me any trouble.

Yes, many stones can remain silent in the kidney for years without causing any pain or symptoms. However, they can grow over time, so it is highly recommended to consult a doctor and monitor them periodically with scans.

Dekho, chupchaap padi rahegi kidney mein toh koi dikkat nahi hai. Par jab wo hilne ki koshish karegi na, tab asli nani yaad aati hai. Isiliye jyada hero mat bano aur doctor ko dikha kar clear kar lo.

Beta, kidney stones can stay inside for a very long time if they are sitting in a quiet corner. We used to drink kulthi dal water to slowly dissolve them, but you must always consult your physician to ensure it isn't damaging the kidney silently.

My son had a 4mm stone that just stayed in his left kidney for almost a year without moving. The doctor told us as long as it doesn't block the urine flow, we can just monitor it and keep him well hydrated.

Haan babu, bilkul reh sakti hai wahan. Mere padosi ke pet mein do saal tak stone wahi betha raha aur unhe pata bhi nahi chala jab tak unhone scan nahi karwaya. Aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye, paani khoob pijiye.

Having answered many such queries, I can tell you that asymptomatic stones staying in the kidney is very common. As long as they aren't causing infections or blocking function, doctors often suggest leaving them alone while keeping an eye on them.

Honestly, those stones are lazier than me on a Sunday morning; they can just hibernate in your kidney forever. I only hope mine stays asleep because the day it decides to wake up and move, my sleep is completely ruined.

Haan bilkul reh sakti hai, mere papa ki kidney mein bhi ek chota sa stone saalon se wahi hai bina kisi problem ke. Bas kabhi-kabhi thoda heavy feel hota hai na, toh hum checkup karwa lete hain safety ke liye.
