Can kidney stones make you nauseated?

Along with the intense kidney stone pain, I've also been feeling constantly nauseated, sometimes even vomiting. Is this a common symptom? Can kidney stones make you feel nauseated?

I completely understand how awful and scary that feeling is, and I want to validate that feeling nauseated is a very common reaction to kidney stone pain. When it happened to me, I was so anxious thinking it was something worse, but my doctor assured me it's just the body's response to intense pain. Please consult a doctor to get some relief.

Yes, they certainly can make you feel nauseated. I tried drinking ginger tea and lemon water to calm my stomach when my stone was acting up, and while it helped a little, the real relief only came after the doctor treated the stone. Don't suffer through it, get a proper medical opinion.

Yes, nausea is a very classic symptom because the nerves for your kidneys and your digestive tract are closely connected. When the kidney is in pain, it triggers the stomach to feel sick or even vomit. A doctor can easily prescribe an anti-emetic along with pain meds to help you feel better.

Haan yaar, bilkul ulti jaisa lagta hai jab kidney stone ka dard uthta hai. Mere dost ko bhi jab pathri hui thi, toh use pain se zyaada nausea ho raha tha. Isme darna nahi hai, bas doctor ke paas jaakar acidity aur pain ki sahi dawai le lo na.

Yes, the intense pain can definitely make you feel nauseated and dizzy. Since I have high BP, I have to be very careful not to let such physical stress go unchecked as it can affect my overall health. Please get a regular checkup and let a doctor evaluate the situation properly.
