Can kidney stones make you dizzy?

I've been feeling dizzy and lightheaded quite often, and my doctor also detected a small kidney stone. I'm wondering if there's any link between the two. Can kidney stones make you feel dizzy?

Yes, they can. The extreme pain from kidney stones can trigger a vasovagal response, which lowers your blood pressure and makes you feel dizzy or lightheaded. I went to a major hospital when this happened to me, and the doctors explained it clearly. Please consult a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.

Yes, the sheer intensity of the pain, along with dehydration from not drinking enough water, can definitely make you feel dizzy. If your doctor allows, try to keep doing light walks to help the stone move, but make sure you rest and hydrate immediately if you start feeling lightheaded.

Yes, they can make you dizzy, especially if you are vomiting and unable to keep liquids down, leading to dehydration. When my son was dealing with this, he felt very weak and lightheaded. Make sure you get medical advice promptly to manage the pain and keep fluids up.

I completely understand what you are going through, because the dizziness combined with that sharp pain made me feel so helpless and exhausted. It is a very real symptom when the body is dealing with such intense physical stress. Please be gentle with yourself and seek medical help to ease the pain.

Oh, totally! The pain can be so overwhelming that it literally makes your head spin. Just lie down, don't stress too much, and drink some water or electral if you can. Definitely let your doctor know about the dizziness so they can give you something to help.
