Can kidney stones get stuck in the bladder?

The ultrasound showed my kidney stone is moving down, close to the bladder. I'm worried it might stop there and cause problems. Is it possible for kidney stones to get stuck in the bladder?

Actually yes, they can get stuck right at the exit of the bladder, which makes it super hard to pee. I literally just recovered from this last week and it was so frustrating because I felt the urge to go but only a few drops would come out. My urologist gave me some medicine to relax the muscles and it finally flushed out.

Yes, they absolutely can get stuck in the bladder. If you are having trouble urinating or feel a sudden stop mid-stream, that is a classic sign. Don't sit at home trying random things; just book an appointment with a urologist and get an ultrasound done to be sure.

They can get stuck, but usually, drinking barley water (jo ka pani) and tender coconut water helps to push them out naturally if they are small. However, if you are experiencing severe pain, blood in urine, or cannot pass urine at all, please rush to the doctor. Home remedies are only for mild cases, not emergency blockages.

Yes, they can get stuck in the bladder. It usually causes a sudden block in your urine flow, so get it checked if that's happening.

Beta, stones can get stuck in the bladder and cause a lot of discomfort while passing urine. In our times, we used to drink a lot of warm water mixed with a little lemon juice to help soothe the system. But you must get a doctor's advice first to check the size, as big stones won't budge without proper medical treatment.
