Can kidney stones cause pelvic pain?

Along with my kidney stone issues, I've been having a lot of discomfort and pain in my pelvic region. Could kidney stones be the cause of this pelvic pain, or is it a separate concern? I'm trying to differentiate.

Yes it does, especially when the stone is about to enter the bladder. If you are going for a pelvic ultrasound, ask the doctor to write a combined KUB scan. It is cheaper than getting kidney and pelvic scans done separately.

Oh god, pelvic pain is so scary, I always start googling worse things like infections or tumors. But yes, kidney stones definitely cause this when they travel down. Please try to stay calm and see a doctor so you don't keep stressing like me.

My teenage son had severe pelvic pain last year and we were so worried. Turns out it was a 5mm stone that had moved down. Just keep them hydrated and give them coconut water, but keep the doctor's number handy.

Actually yes, it is very common yaar. When the stone is stuck near the bladder, you get this weird pelvic ache. Just go to a clinic and get a basic sonography done instead of suffering.

While lower abdominal and pelvic pain is a documented symptom of migrating stones, it could also be due to muscle spasms or UTI. It's best not to self-diagnose. Do consult a urologist for an accurate diagnosis.

Yes, pelvic pain is a classic sign of lower tract stones. Take rest and try drinking warm water, it will get better soon.

Yes, pelvic pain is common when stones move. Since I have thyroid issues, I have to be very careful with body pains and regular tests. I highly suggest getting a proper urine routine test and consulting your doctor for regular follow-ups.
