Can kidney stones cause impotence?

I'm a bit hesitant to ask, but ever since I started having severe kidney stone pain, I've been struggling with impotence. Could kidney stones really have such an effect? This is very concerning for me.

True, the extreme pain and stress from stones can definitely ruin your drive. Drink lots of water to clear the stone first.

When my son had a severe stone, the constant groin pain made him very weak and stressed out for weeks. It is not permanent impotence, just the body reacting to severe pain and pressure. Once the stone passes, things should return to normal.

I had a similar worry when I had a 8mm stone and was feeling completely drained out. I went to a specialist at Kokilaben Hospital and he cleared it up saying it is just the pain and anxiety causing temporary issues. Go talk to your urologist clearly, they see these cases daily.

While there is no direct link between kidney stones and erectile dysfunction, the intense pain and urinary tract pressure can temporarily cause issues. Please don't stress too much and consult a urologist. They can easily diagnose the exact cause and clear your doubts.

Honestly, the agonizing pain of a stone is enough to kill any mood or performance. It is just a temporary physical reaction to intense pain in your urinary tract. Get the stone treated first and you will be absolutely fine.
