Can kidney stones cause fever?

I've been diagnosed with kidney stones a few months back. Last night, I suddenly developed a high fever along with the usual pain. Can kidney stones cause a fever, or should I be worried about something else?

Hey, actually a fever with a kidney stone can be a bit serious because it usually means there is an infection. When my cousin had this, the doctor told her not to wait at home. Please get it checked out by a doc soon, don't ignore it.

I had a kidney stone last year and when I got a sudden fever, my doctor immediately admitted me because of a UTI complication. It was quite scary for me, so based on my experience, I would suggest calling a doctor right away if you run a temperature.

I absolutely panicked when I got a 101 fever during my stone episode, thinking something went horribly wrong. Thankfully, once I saw the doctor and got the right medication, the fever came down and the stone passed safely. Just visit your physician, they will manage it easily.

Fever with kidney stones is not something to treat at home, dear. It often indicates that the stone is blocking urine flow and causing an infection in the urinary tract. Please consult a doctor immediately for proper antibiotics and care.

Hey, don't stress too much, but a fever definitely means you should head to the clinic today. It usually means a small infection has cropped up because of the stone. Just get some medicine from the doc and you'll be totally fine, take rest!

Bhai, kidney stone mein bukhar aana thik nahi hai. Yeh sankraman (infection) ka ishara ho sakta hai. Aap turant doctor ke paas jao aur checkup karwao, ghar par ilaaj mat karo.
