Can kidney stones cause exhaustion?

Since my kidney stone diagnosis last month, I feel so drained all the time. My energy levels are really low, aur kaam mein bhi mann nahi lag raha. Is this exhaustion normal with kidney stones?

Honestly, the body uses up a lot of energy dealing with that intense pain, which absolutely drains you out. When I was passing a stone, I felt like running or working out was impossible, but my doc told me gentle walking can actually help move things along if the pain is under control. Just dont overdo it and check with your doctor first.

Haan bilkul, exhaustion toh bohot common hai isme. Jab body itne bade pain se fight kar rahi hoti hai na, toh thakawat hona normal hai. Just sleep as much as u can and keep sipping water, take care!

I totally get it, that feeling of having zero energy is so frustrating when you are already in pain. Your body is working overtime to deal with the stone, so please dont feel bad about resting the whole day. Hang in there, it will get better once it passes.

Beta, at this age I have seen many people get very weak during kidney stones. The body gets heated and tired. You can drink fresh coconut water or barley water (jau ka paani) to soothe the system, but please consult your doctor for proper medication.

Oh god, same here! I have been feeling so tired lately with this 4mm stone and was getting worried it was something else. Did anyone else also feel super sleepy and weak the whole day even if they slept well?

Yes, physical and mental exhaustion is a documented response to chronic or acute renal pain. However, since fatigue can also stem from an underlying infection or dehydration, it is highly recommended to get a quick checkup with your urologist to rule out complications.
