Can kidney stones cause blood in urine without pain?

I saw a tiny bit of blood in my urine a couple of times, but honestly, I don't feel any pain or discomfort. My friend said it could still be a kidney stone. Can kidney stones cause blood in urine even if there's no pain?

Yes, it is entirely possible to have blood in your urine without any pain, especially if the stone is sitting quietly in the kidney and not blocking any passage. However, painless bleeding in urine is a symptom that always requires a doctor's evaluation to rule out other serious conditions. Please get an ultrasound done.

Yes, absolutely. A non-obstructive kidney stone can scratch the tissue and cause blood to appear in urine without causing any pain. However, please do not ignore painless bleeding. It is highly recommended to consult a urologist as soon as possible.

I literally just recovered from this last month. I had pink urine but absolutely zero pain, which confused me. An ultrasound revealed a 7mm stone sitting in my kidney. Don't wait for the pain to start, go get a scan done right away.

Sometimes the body warns us silently without causing us painful suffering. Yes, a stone can cause painless bleeding, but please stay positive and seek medical help to resolve this. Proper care and timely tests will help bring your body back to its healthy state.

Yes, kidney stones can cause painless bleeding, but painless hematuria is also a red flag for other urological issues. For your own safety, please do not assume it is just a stone. Get a proper clinical examination and urine tests done immediately.

While drinking barley water and coconut water can help flush out toxins, seeing blood without any pain is not something you should treat at home. It can happen with silent stones, but it is very important to get a doctor's checkup immediately to know the exact cause.
