Can kidney stones cause anemia?

My recent blood tests showed I'm anemic, and my doctor is trying to find out why. I also have a small kidney stone that they're monitoring. Could the kidney stone be a factor in causing my anemia?

See, normally kidney stones don't directly cause anemia unless there's a lot of bleeding in the urine for a long time. If you are feeling weak and think your blood levels are down, go get a simple CBC test done. Sitting and worrying won't help, check with a doctor.

Haan na, kidney stones can sometimes cause blood to go in urine, which might lead to low hemoglobin if it goes on. But it is better to get a proper checkup, na? Don't stress too much, just consult your doctor once to be sure.

Don't believe every random article you read online connecting kidney stones to anemia. Google will only scare you unnecessarily. Go to a proper clinic, get your blood tested, and let a qualified doctor tell you what's actually happening.

I track my vitals and step counts regularly and noticed my energy levels crashed during my stone episode. While the stone itself doesn't cause anemia, the fatigue and potential blood loss can make you feel super weak. A quick blood panel check will give you the exact picture.

Please don't take this lightly. I had a kidney stone that caused a silent infection and prolonged bleeding, which eventually made my iron levels plummet. If you are feeling unusually tired or dizzy, please see a specialist immediately before it complicates further.

Beta, in our days we always focused on beetroot juice and pomegranate to keep the blood strong, but kidney stones need proper doctor's care. If you are losing blood in urine, home remedies won't fix it. Drink lots of warm water and visit a physician soon.

Usually, a standard kidney stone won't make you anemic. However, if a stone causes a chronic infection or persistent microscopic bleeding over weeks, it can drop your iron levels. I'd suggest getting a basic kidney function and blood count test done to find the real cause.

It's rare but persistent blood loss from stones can sometimes drop your hemoglobin. Definitely get a blood test done.
