Can kidney patients eat pumpkin seeds?

My mother has kidney disease, and we're always searching for healthy snacks for her. Pumpkin seeds are often recommended for general health. I'm wondering if kidney patients can safely include pumpkin seeds in their diet.

Actually yaar, pumpkin seeds are super high in phosphorus and potassium, which is usually restricted for kidney patients. It's better to avoid them or check with your doctor first, because you don't want to overload your system.

I love snacking on seeds while binge-watching at night, but if you have kidney issues, pumpkin seeds might not be your best friend. They are packed with phosphorus, which weak kidneys hate. Better check with your doc before you start munching!

While pumpkin seeds are healthy for others, they can be risky for kidney patients due to high mineral content. Please get your current potassium and phosphorus blood levels checked, and ask your doctor if they are safe for you.

I was looking into healthy snacks for my aunt who has kidney issues, and we found out that pumpkin seeds are actually quite high in phosphorus. We had to cut them out of her diet to keep her levels stable. It's always safer to ask your renal dietitian first.

Pumpkin seeds are a wonderful home remedy for many things, but for kidney patients, they can be heavy because of the minerals they contain. It is always better to stick to simple, easily digestible foods. Please discuss this with your doctor to avoid any issues.

It is so incredibly stressful trying to figure out what is safe to eat and what is not when dealing with kidney issues, I totally understand. Since pumpkin seeds are high in phosphorus, they are usually restricted. Don't worry, a dietitian can help you find safer, stress-free snack options.
