Can kidney pain be felt in the front?

I've been having this weird pain, more towards the front of my abdomen, but my doctor mentioned it could be related to my kidneys. I thought kidney pain was always in the back. Can you really feel kidney pain in the front?

I just recovered from a kidney stone last month, and honestly, the pain started in my upper back but radiated right to my lower front abdomen. It was super confusing because I thought it was a stomach issue at first. Definitely get an ultrasound if you feel this.

My son had a kidney infection and he kept pointing to his lower tummy and front groin area, not his back. The doctor explained that kidney pain often travels or radiates to the front. Keep an eye on any fever or urine issues too.

Haan ji, mere pati ko jab kidney me stone hua tha, toh unhe pehle aage ki taraf hi dukhne laga tha pet me. Hum darr gaye the par doctor ne bola ki piche se dukhna aage tak aa jata hai. Aap jaldi se unhe kisi acche doctor ko dikha lijiye.

It can definitely radiate to the front, especially with stones or infections. If it's a mild ache, gentle walking can sometimes help with digestion and movement, but make sure to check with your doctor first. Don't do any heavy core exercises when you have this pain.

Yes, kidney pain can travel along the nerve pathways and be felt in the front abdomen or groin. Make sure you are keeping your hydration levels high, especially if you workout. But if the pain is sharp and sudden, stop everything and go to a clinic.

I panicked so much when I felt a sharp pain in my lower front belly, thinking it was appendicitis! Turns out it was just a small kidney stone passing through. It's actually very common for the pain to travel there, so try to stay calm and see a doctor.

Hey, don't worry too much. While kidney pain usually starts in the back or side, it is very common for it to radiate to the front lower belly. Just get it checked by a doctor to rule out anything serious. Take rest and stay hydrated.
