Yes, it absolutely can, especially if you have Nephrotic Syndrome where protein leaks into the urine, forcing the liver to produce more cholesterol. Stop guessing and get a fasting lipid profile and a urine protein test done to know what's actually happening.

High cholesterol linked to kidney issues can increase the risk of heart complications. Please play it safe and do not try to self-manage this with random diets. You should visit a nephrologist immediately to get your kidney function and lipid levels properly checked.

Yes, kidney issues and high cholesterol often go hand-in-hand. When I dealt with this, my realistic tip is to strictly follow a low-salt, low-fat diet and monitor your urine protein. Getting your eGFR and lipid profile checked every few months is very important.

Yes, actually my cousin went through this when she had kidney issues. Her cholesterol shot up because her kidneys were losing protein, which is so weird but true! Eating a clean, low-fat diet helped her, but you definitely need to see a doctor for the main kidney treatment.

I totally panicked when my lipid profile came back extremely high during my kidney checkup! But my doctor reassured me that it's a very common side effect of kidney strain and is manageable. Once they adjusted my kidney treatment, my cholesterol started coming down.

Yes, kidney disease directly alters how your body processes fats, leading to high cholesterol. While regular walking or light cardio can help manage lipid levels, you must check with your nephrologist first to make sure your body can handle the exercise safely.

Yes, when kidneys lose protein, the liver tries to compensate by making more cholesterol and triglycerides. Don't start taking random cholesterol medicines on your own because kidney function affects how these drugs are cleared. Let your doctor prescribe the safe dose.

I totally get it, finding out that one issue is causing another is so stressful and overwhelming. It is really common for kidney changes to mess up your cholesterol levels. Please don't worry too much, just talk to a doctor who can help balance both.

Haan ji, kidney ki wajah se cholesterol badhna aam baat hai. Iske liye sabse pehle toh bahar ka tala-bhuna khana bilkul band kar dijiye aur ghar ka saada khana khaiye. Aur bina deri kiye ek baar acche doctor ko dikha kar unki salah lijiye.
