Can kidney disease cause dizziness?

My aunt has kidney disease and has been complaining about frequent dizziness and lightheadedness. We're trying to figure out if this symptom is directly related to her kidney condition.

Beta, kidney problems can cause anemia, which makes you feel very weak and dizzy. In our days, we used to drink beetroot juice or pomegranate juice to build up blood, but since you have kidney issues, you must ask your doctor first before trying any dietary changes.

Dizziness can happen because of high blood pressure or anemia linked to kidney trouble. While smelling a bit of ginger or resting in a dark room can temporarily soothe normal dizziness, kidney-related issues need proper medical treatment. Please consult a doctor immediately.

Yes, dizziness is quite common. My son had kidney issues, and his hemoglobin would drop often, making him dizzy and tired. We had to get regular blood tests done. Please keep a close watch on their blood pressure and red blood cell count, and consult your doctor.

Yes, kidney disease affects erythropoietin production, leading to low red blood cells (anemia) and dizziness. It could also be due to blood pressure fluctuations from your meds. Please get your hemoglobin and BP checked, and discuss this with your physician.

Dizziness is a common side effect of electrolyte imbalances or anemia caused by kidney issues. Avoid sudden movements or heavy gym sessions if you feel lightheaded. If your doctor clears you, light walks are great, but sit down immediately if you feel dizzy.
