Can kidney disease cause blurred vision?

My father has been dealing with kidney disease for a few years, and lately, he's complaining about blurred vision. We are unsure if this is related to his kidneys or something else entirely. Can kidney disease cause blurred vision?

Yes, severe fluid retention and blood pressure spikes from kidney issues can mess with your vision. I always tell folks in the gym that clean eating and regular cardio help manage BP, but for blurred vision, you need to stop training and see a doctor first.

Actually yaar, kidney disease directly link nahi hota blurred vision se, but because of it your blood pressure can shoot up like crazy. High BP directly affects your eyes. So get your BP checked immediately, don't ignore this yaar.

Blurred vision combined with kidney issues can be a sign of very high blood pressure or diabetes complications. Please do not take this lightly. For your own safety, get a doctor's appointment today and have your eyes and blood pressure evaluated.

Beta, in my 65 years, I have seen many people face this. Often, diabetes or high blood pressure is the root cause damaging both kidneys and eyes. Don't worry too much, once you start the right treatment for your blood pressure and kidney, your vision usually gets much better.

Yes, absolutely. Being a diabetic, I know that diabetic nephropathy (kidney issue) and diabetic retinopathy (eye issue) often go hand-in-hand. You need to strictly monitor your HbA1c and get a kidney function test done. Please consult an ophthalmologist and a nephrologist soon.

My father always says that our eyes and kidneys are deeply connected through the blood vessels. When kidneys are strained, it can affect eye pressure too. While we can try resting the eyes, it is best to trust a proper doctor and get both your kidney parameters and eyes tested.

Arey, at my age, even finding my glasses is a task, but blurred vision is no joke if you have kidney trouble! It usually happens because of high BP or blood sugar spikes. Get those numbers checked before your eyes start playing more tricks on you.

I tried rose water drops and cold compresses for my blurry eyes, but they didn't help because the real issue was my high blood pressure linked to my kidneys. Home remedies won't work for this. Please see a medical specialist to get your kidney function and eye pressure checked.
