Can internal hemorrhoids cause cancer?

Been having some discomfort, and the doctor said it might be internal hemorrhoids. My uncle had a bad experience with colon issues, and now I'm really scared. Can these internal hemorrhoids actually lead to cancer?

No, they do not turn into cancer, but they can share some similar symptoms like bleeding. My gastro specialist clearly explained that piles are just swollen veins. However, because both can cause blood in the stool, getting a colonoscopy or a proper clinical examination is the only way to be 100% sure of the cause.

From what I have read during my own health struggles, piles themselves don't lead to cancer. But because our bodies can be so complicated, it's always safer not to assume. I always prefer visiting a specialist when there is bleeding, just to be on the safer side and get peace of mind.

I lived with internal piles for three years, and trust me, they do not cause cancer. They are just incredibly annoying and painful when they flare up. My tip is to drink lots of water, eat fiber-rich papaya, and avoid sitting on the commode for too long. But if there is fresh bleeding, get it checked once to rule out other things.

Don't stress, bro, Google will always show the worst possible disease even for a small sneeze. Internal piles are super common and don't cause cancer at all. Just eat some fiber and chill out, but yeah, if it's bleeding too much then go see a doctor instead of reading random stuff online.

Please take a deep breath and relax, hemorrhoids are totally benign and will not turn into cancer. It's completely normal to feel scared when you see blood, but it is highly likely just piles. Still, as your elder sister, I'll advise you not to sit on this issue—schedule a quick doctor's appointment just to get a proper diagnosis.
